Anti-Reflective Glass over Grayscale Print

This image series shows Artglass WW, Artglass WW UV, Museum Glass and Ultra Vue in side by side comparisons over a grayscale image from Jack Flesher’s test printing image, printed from a Canon iPF8400 printer on Epson Hot Press Natural paper. Illuminated by overhead daylight, camera angled perpendicularly to glass. The most objectionable glass turns out to be UltraVue, imparting a cool tint to the image. Museum Glass and Artglass WW UV actually imparts a slight yellowish tint, which is difficult to see in these images but not in real life.

Some of the transmission nuances have been lost by photographing the glass in this series. The effects can be more easily seen over black.
